Roy Garland Cooper, age 77, Boaz, passed away Monday, September 2, 2019 at Shepherds Cove Hospice. His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Boaz Carr Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Bro. Wesley Cooper and Bro. Shannon Pullen will officiate. Pallbearers will be Josh Cooper, Bradley Cooper, Wesley Cooper, Joey Griffin, Martin Harmon and Jordan Cooper. Visitation will be from 1 until 2 before the service. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jean Cooper, children, Jeff Cooper (Tammy) and Amy Harmon (Martin), grandchildren, Bradley Cooper (Leah), Wesley Cooper (Rachel), Josh Cooper (Brittany), Madison Harmon and Sarah Harmon, great-grandchildren, Jordan Cooper, Jaxon Cooper, Karma White, Jaggar White, Emily Cooper, Seth Cooper, Evelyn Cooper, Taylor Cooper and Bailey Cooper, and brother, Aaron Cooper.
